Hello everyone,

I noticed an email on my mother’s Gmail account from noreply@cibilenqalert.transunion.com stating that her CIBIL profile was checked for a personal loan enquiry by Home Credit.

My mother is a homemaker with only one bank account, which I personally manage. I’ve always been extremely cautious about her personal information and have never shared her details online.

I’m puzzled as to how this enquiry was made without access to her PAN card details, which are essential for a CIBIL check.

To investigate further, I created her CIBIL account today and found no new entries under the Enquiry section—despite receiving the alert email yesterday.

What should be my next steps in resolving or escalating this?

Thanks!

If the CIBIL report doesn't contain the enquiry, then nothing much to worry.
Try downloading/checking the report from any other app such as OneScore, CRED, etc. and check if that has the new enquiry.
If it doesn't have, then we are good.

Some employees could go to any extent to meet certain targets even if it comes to creating a personal loan application without customer's consent. So, it's good to be cautious.
