The only issue for me to apply for every tom, dick and hardy card, is to be cautious because I have heard from others that some banks (like HSBC, Amex, SC) will reject your application when applying theirs if you are overleveraged. I am not sure how accurate that is, but is definitely something in my head. I have CCs from all other major players. So, no issue there but I do have an interest in applying for HSBC, Amex and SC (Mostly for their LTF card).

Edit: Overleveraged is not the right term, but I meant to say when you have too much credit on hand, compared to your annual income. (High credit to income ratio)

Goal is to get premium or super premium credit cards with good limits. Rest chillar cards can be closed later. These chillar cards are used as tools to get super premium cards in the future.
