TF Select
Heyy
I have been using union bank basic savings account for more than two years with UBI classic visa debit card
I want to upgrade to RUPAY SELECT DEBIT CARD
How do I do it ?
Is it possible to get this card
If not UBI Share your thoughts about how to get BOB RUPAY SELECT DEBIT CARD with less charges and less MAB bank account

Anybody needs to know the scheme code for Udaan, it's SBPRO.
I went to branch for converting regular account to Udaan. They said it's possible and asked me to write an application on plain paper. I did so. But the branch official was struggling to find the scheme code for Udaan. After trying for 30 minutes and calling multiple people, he finally found that (SBPRO). But when he tried to update my account scheme, permission denied. Then one of his colleagues said he will need special permission to do. So, he asked me to leave the application to him and said he will get the permission and try. That's my current status. One thing I felt nice is even at govt bank, the branch people were nice, and this particular person spent so much effort with patience just for my case.

  • PRSDC issued
  • Activated at UBI ATM
  • Vyom Registered through it
  • Applied for VRSDC in Vyom

in that order
recently opened union udan account.
got physical rupay select card
after that yesterday i applied for virtual card and got rupay select card as well.

but the issue is i am not able to use the virtual card, it's not working. transactions getting cancelled even before getting to otp page.
tried on amazon and paytm but still same issue.

Do i have to wait 2-3 days before using the virtual card ?

I tried to open Udaan account yesterday from my nearest branch in Bangalore. First of all they didn't have any idea as to what account it was. Upon showing them the UBI website link on Udaan, the bank employee called up her manager from the higher branch and asked me to submit the relevant documents (company payslip, offer letter as proof for engineer) and then told she will seek the approval for opening the account.

I got a call sometime back saying those documents are insufficient for opening the account. And I should have some registration number of the profession with a board/institute (like doctors and CAs have). I even tried to provide my UG certificate as the proof but they still did not agree.

Any solution/suggestions to this from those who opened the account recently with engineer credentials?

just visit a different branch then.
i opened the same account this month, branch wasn't much familiar with this account but still they said ok to account opening, first they asked for proof of profession but i told them it is not required as my friends opened this account without any extra docs, first they tried to open the account via tab but they weren't familiar, so they just gave me a basic account opening form, i filled up the form submitted my kyc docs.
my account was opened next day but it wasn't fully active, called branch they said we have to manually send the docs to higher branch to activate it.
after 4-5 days my account was active, i already told the branch that i want rupay select card only. after the account got activated, i called them and asked to apply for card. they applied the rupay select card. i got the card within next 4-5 days. after that i activated the app and applied for a virtual card, i can see the details of virtual card but was able to use it only after 24 hrs.

so account opened in 7 days.
5 days to get physical card.
1 day to use virtual card.

Also even though there are many options to activate the vyom app, none of them works for sign up, we can activate only with debit card.

What about initial funding ?!
And are they strict about age criteria, I'm 19

I have applied in offline and received the rupay select dc within two weeks. First they asked me to convert to hni variant account, after converted we can apply for rupay dc.
