As you all know Axis has took over Citi's operations in India, but they total migration is yet to be done. Axis is taking some very promising steps to get the client base happy, especially their HNI/UHNI clients.

So here are few upcoming features which are going to be included.

Please do note that these informations aren't officially announced yet, so they may not be 100% correct.

A Small correction. Axis hasnt taken over Citi Operations yet. The deal has been announced but the deal is subject to getting all Authority approvals.

There is always a slim chance of the deal fallout even after announcement.

As for credit card portfolio revamp, that's just Axis working on the lines of bringing a product equivalent to Citi Lineup as Axis will not be able to use those same Credit Card Names after takeover is completed.

I don't think that they can convert maximum Citi Salary or CC customers to Axis. This deal will scrap in future else Axis Bank will be doomed for paying such huge money for this non-sense unmatched deal. I don't know, how Citi India management chooses Axis Bank for a higher bidding price only. The current Axis management team ruined the bank culture completely. I am sure, this Bank will not go anywhere, and will be sold out in future.

I know people with Citi Credit Cards that have received calls from Citi asking them whether they would like to shift to Axis once the merger happens next year. So I believe that the deal will happen, they have received approval from the competition commission as well.

I hope that Axis revamps their premium offering to ensure a smooth offering for Citi customers. This will hopefully also improve the offering for existing Burgundy customers. Finger crossed.
