Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share a recent experience in case anyone is interested in getting a free upgrade to the Yes Bank Marquee Credit Card (LTF - Lifetime Free).

I started with the Yes Bank Reserve Credit Card LTF. But I decided to request an upgrade to the Yes Bank Marquee Credit Card LTF, which typically comes with a ₹9,999 annual fee. To my surprise, the upgrade was approved and I was able to get the Marquee Card with Lifetime Free (LTF) status!

Here’s a quick summary of what I did:
  1. Initial Card: Yes Bank Reserve Card (LTF)
  2. Upgrade Request: Contacted Yes Bank customer support at yestouchcc@yesbank.in and requested an upgrade to the Yes Bank Marquee Credit Card.
  3. Outcome: Got the upgrade approved with no annual fee (LTF).
Edit 1: 18-Dec-2024 : Got today email that there was technical issue going on where many customers got free LTF without asking, so they reverted my card to Reserv, As I have email confirmation, I told them to reactivate / reissue marquee card. Will keep posted here as it progress. From my understanding the technical issue coincided with the date range of my LTF request. Emailed nodal office and PNO, waiting for revert.

What is the email that you sent?


Can you send the exact email that you sent to their customer care?

How old is your Yes reserv cc? Spends in the last 1 year or last 6 months?

How did you come to know about this, like did you just randomly shoot an email or you received any email communication for the same?

What's your limit on the existing reserv card?

Can you asnwer all my questions?

I also hold an Yes reserv cc with 3 lacs limit. Just dropped an email to the cc. Will share an update once I receive the same.

Recently (2-3 months back), i got upgraded to Marquee with fee, at that time they didn't offer me LTF. I raised the upgrade request to many levels, then they approved it. So not sure, what recently have changed from their side.

i think, may be new card is going to launch between Marquee and Private.

Now, i will try to make it LTF at time of next year renewal.

I asked for an upgrade to marquee from reserv and they siad it will be only through inviation (email, SMS, app notification) and that I have to wait. I will try as it has been a few months to that instance.

I have been using Yes First Exclusive card since 7 years which was LTF, which recently got the name changed to Yes Reserve.

After seeing this post, I gave a try requesting for an upgrade via email yesterday, got a call today saying i am qualified for the upgrade offer but the card is neither LTF nor FYF.

Was in a dilemma whether to take it or not, and finally after requesting for couple of times i rejected it, is there any other way to get it LTF.

Mail PNO and see if they can enable it for you.

Did they share any criteria for the upgrade eligibility?

On your email itself thy confirmed you are eligible for LTF upgrade?
For me they said its paid upgrade. Is there a way to get it fro LTF upgrade

Hi,

I hold Resrv LTF, please upgrade to Marquee LTF.
Reserv, 1-2 yrs old , before it was Yes First Exclusive.
No spends on last 1 yr
I thought to see if they would upgrade and they did.
Limit is 6L+

In your case the criteria for you getting a LTF card was simply not using it since long time, if i am not wrong.

That could have triggered them to issue it on LTF basics as you could use the card at least now.

Where in my case i have been using it on regular basics though the usage is less amount at aprox 20k per month, my card limit is close to 9L

Are they guys upgrading on email itself or asking to wait until it shows up on the app?

They sent an email that I am eligible for an upgrade but when I called them and asked to upgrade it they say that I need to wait until it shows up in the app.
