Upgrade HDFC Millenia to Regalia Rupay for UPI?

I rarely use my Millenia card as I’ve other cards like Axis Ace, Magnus, MRCC etc. which fulfil most of my needs.

Is it a good idea to upgrade from Millenia to Regalia Rupay? I can use it through UPI on daily bases and reward system is better than HDFC Tata Neu (which mine recently got approved but I’ll close it if Regalia is better).

Through UPI I can easily spend 3 lacs in a year to waive the renewal fees (by regular scanner payments and transferring to UPI if that’s possible)

I didn’t read any posts about this as everyone was talking about Tata Neu cards only, but I think Regalia is way better than Tata Neu as in regalia we get rewards for flights hotel etc. I’m Tata neu we’ll just get Neu coins which we’ve to spend unnecessarily

Just call customer care. They will deny on email saying they've stopped or not possible @pprakash11

Oh! and any concerned about reward points ? Around 6000 reward points are there in VISA Millenia.

Yes lounge access, also her concern is not about acceptability, most of in-store purchases is done on ACE.
and having one Diners card will have a right hand, for 080 type lounges 🤣🤣

There is thread for 080 lounge. Diners privilege is not accepted there

Regalia RuPay give you rewards point and milestone benefit using UPI spend.

You can also pay any other banks credit card bill via Amazon using your RuPay Regalia link UPI and also get rewards/milestone benefit.

do you think payment of other banks credit cards will always be allowed through link UPI ? or it will be blocked one day if not then its definitely worth applying

Payment by cc to a cc is not in the product guidelines so it won’t exist officially
Still its worth to hold a rupay cc

If you regularly use Tata neu app then apply for Tata neu infinity Rupay but I have also heard that Tata Neu has blocked accounts for bulk ordering.

Credit card link UPI only allowed for Merchant UPI transactions, you can't send money to anyone.


Ya, monthly capped 500 points per calendar month but currently everyone getting more than 500 reward points. Can't say if any change in future.

Only Merchant UPI transactions allowed, currently you can pay any other banks credit card bill pay via Amazon using Regalia UPI because cc bill pay also comes under merchant category.
