Upgraded to IOCL

I had a freedom rupay credit card for the past one year. Recently I upgraded it to IOCL rupay CC and i received it just now. I have two questions:

1. Will the freedom card be deactivated after activating IOCL card?
2. Will I get 5% fuel points if I pay through UPI at Indian oil outlets?

I got hdfc credit card when i worked there. Now I'm unemployed so getting kotak or changing hdfc to a higher variant is not possible right now

When you do upgrade card in there is a option that do you need to keep current card or deactivate once new card activated.
So it depends, what option you did choose.
Or you can confirm with CC yo verify it.

No, I'm only getting the base reward of 1 fuel point per 150 for all UPI spends (incl UPI at iocl outlets)

1. What about swipe/POS payment for petrol at IOCL pump using Axis IOCL Rupay cc?
2. What about swipe/POS payment for petrol at HPCL and BPCL pumps using Axis IOCL Rupay cc?

Freedom or moneyback is much better as they get 50k per quarter spend offer .for 500 voucher

axis iocl has a capping but accelerated rewards at IOCL pumps with correct mcc gives 4%
