Even though SBI has no MAB condition for account holders, internally they have segmented customers into 4 tiers: Silver, Gold, Titanium and Platinum based on the NRV with the bank.

Most SBI Debit Cards have a common rewards structure: 2RP per every 200 equivalent to 0.25%.

Use this card for a minimum 3 times a quarter and you'll get 2X Reward Points for Silver/Gold and 3X points on Titanium/Platinum pushing the reward rate to 0.5% to 0.75%. Make spends during your birthday month and you'll get 2X points on that as well irrespective of number of transactions made.

Note: Max points that can be earned per transaction is 100. (base RP)

Do you know if we can redeem rewards points into cash to savings account?

Previously I used to get unlimited 1pc cashback in Visa platinum dc, it is drastically reduced for last few years. Now they give max 100 points per transaction for 10 times (probably) a month.

Does the 2X/3X apply only from the 3rd transaction onwards (and so one should make 2-3 small txns before doing larger transactions where one wants 2X/3X)? Or will even the first and 2nd transactions be retroactively updated to 2X/3X once the 3rd txn of the quarter is made (seems unlikely since there may be a large gap of time between the two and points credit doesnt wait for that)

Hi, anyidea how to upgrade account to platinum? So then reward rate will be 0.75% correct?

Any one tried this? I did txn but for 1 point per 100 only. Mine is SBI Platinum JCB Rupay debit card, segmentation is Platinum.
