Urgent Special Savings Account Required

Hello TF folks.

Since, Aug 2024, I have been looking upto a decently reliable bank to open a lifetime comitted savings account for all my digital transactions, especially utility expenses of my family.

I can't maintain funds. Need it effectively zero MAB or maybe 10K MAB. IP and NRV can fulfill but upto 5 L only

It needs to have following
1) Family Banking - Joint (Father-Mother), One for me, One for Brother. In future, post marriage, we will convert our single accounts to joint as well. Plus some room for kids individual acc

2) Free NEFT/IMPS/RTGS/UPI through internet banking

3) Visa/MasterC for rare Forex expenditure

4) Better if it has Unl. Other Bank ATM Withdrawal.

5) OD over FD support required.

Currently IndusInd Select Cx paired with an FD backed Legend CC.

Was considering Standard Chartered and DBS but they have presence only in Tier 1 cities mostly. Decent presence required.

IndusInd is okay. Select also okay. Legend is completely stripped of benefits but still okay.

But the branch is terrible. All the employees. And on IVR, it seems I can not longer reach a human agent. It's EMail or RBI for all small concerns. I am extremely tired with staff behaviour tbh.

Zero banking knowledge, only to sale insurance and stuff. Maybe help proceed some cheques. Worthless people.

All branches in my city TERRIBLE. Ironically, the BM is okay 🤣 but he does nothing.

Besides ICICI 360, you can utilise the criteria for account based age of your family members as well.

Nothing in banking/life is permanent so things will change with time and thus you have to adapt.

If you have senior citizen family members, then MOST banks offers 0MAB account, especially PSUs.
PSUs are not great but everything has pros and cons.
Senior citizen as primary account for family and other members as addition to family banking can solve this.

Another criteria is many banks also offer 0MAB for Women and "Youths", so those members as primary and other members as addition to those can provide help.
Do research before moving this path.
