idk why car dealers anyways ask 2%, best price is provided by hdfc and normally it is 1.6% but for car dealers, it is easily 1% or less for new dealer and 0.4% or less for old dealers.

If dealer still insists, ask him to show his merchant payout report to confirm exactly how much the dealer is paying the MDR+GST. This 2% story is BS by any dealer.
