TF Legend
HDFC Bank has recently started moving Classic Banking customers to their Vishesh Banking Program (Classic Equivalent)

This only applies to account holders in Sub-Urban & Rural Branches (SURU)

Here's the updated information from their website:

That's it, folks. So, if you're residing in a Suburb and rural location and Classic Logo SUDDENLY DISAPPEARS from your Net-Banking & Mobile application, do check with your RM ONCE if you've migrated to Vishesh Program.

you can directly open HDFC saving max a/c 25k MAB from any branch with that account debit card charges waive off.
Yes but since my permanent address is of rural area I was wondering to open classic account because I would have to maintain less as low as 2500 MAB, only reason I am opening hdfc is just for core card and Millenia debit card.

Okay so you have to pay yearly 590 for millennia debit card

But at the time of account opening you will get money back debit card because for rural area they giving moneybcak by default card at the time of account opening so after account opening you can request for millennia debit card.
I saw on YouTube that when someone opens hdfc savings ac via online method they get the kit delivered with Millenia dc , but I think opening via branch would be better since I won't be available at that address all the time and I can get some work done by the RM . What do you suggest? Thanks

You said you open account in rural branch regular savings account with mab 2500 so for regular savings account no RM will assigned you have enroll in program for RM. And for Regular savings account as I said specifically rural branchs and few semi urban Branchs they give money back debit card also please contact with you nearest branch after opening account or at the opening of account you told them want millennia debit card and from your preference find code of millennia Visa or MC and told them code that's it. With new account they process millennia debit card
