This status match doesn't work everytime
Airlines runs status match program and also there is a list which can be used to status match
If you send mail outside those promotions , most likely you won't get a response as those mail id's are untracked

maybe thats why virgin atlantic didnt give me a response

krisflyer is only accepting kenya gold and platinum as of now had a word with them

If you have Marriot Gold elite you can enter the challenge to get Kris silver with just 2 flights within 6 months of enrolling.

If Marriot platinum and above , you are status matches to Kris silver and you can get upgraded to Kris gold with 4 flights within 6 months.
