You have to ask customer care for removal of the annual fee and if not possible, then threaten to close it

what retention offers did you get? DId they offer fees removal?

I got 3k CV points retention benefit. I accepted it. Can i still close the card? The fees would be charged after 2 days. After fee gets charged, can i cancel my card?

I recently closed my VI card. The best offer they had was 3K Edge miles, but I didn't want it. I believe Axis VI is the worst card at present unless you travel frequently and plan your travel with Vistara months in advance.
