Want to Close Kotak 811 Account Online After Recent Freeze — Any Way to Do This Without Visiting a Branch?

can you please tell how did your account got unblocked , My account got blocked today with the same reason as yours.
If possible do share experience on how did your account got unblocked
They asked trx details I said everything was inter Banking, and family members, then they asked latest employment details over email I sent them. Then they unfreeze.
 
I recently closed my Kotak 811 account and even got confirmation of closure.
But strangely, I’m still able to log in to both the new and old Kotak mobile banking apps with the same CRN.

I contacted customer care, and they told me that CRNs are never deleted - the bank only closes the account, but the CRN always remains in their system for record-keeping.

Is this true? Has anyone else faced the same situation?

Late reply but yes this is true & not just for kotak but any bank in India. Once you become a customer of any bank/financial institution after doing full kyc then your details (incl all txn records) will be saved by bank for at least 10 years (though banks keep it for decades) as required by law.
