I have 3 SBI cards and simply click is one of them. SimplyClick have limit of just 30k which always pinched me as other cards have 3L and 1.2L limit.
I requested for limit increase, they asked for income documents. They denied limit increase but suggested me to merge limit of other card
For this condition was to clear outstanding of other card and close it and after that they will transfer the limit.
I was like its okay, I will close my unnati card, which I don't use anymore.
I closed Unnati CC and requested them to initiate transfer of limit.

Now their support is refusing saying it's not possible. We are sorry, we understand your concern etc..

Unnati card was my first card with longest credit history and that's why

Their main motive seems to be chasing profit these days and customer satisfaction has taken a backseat.

You should've transferred limit before closing. I did that with my SimplyClick but didn't close it.
 
They have clearly mentioned that you need to close your card. That's why I went for closure
They also told me to close the card if i want to transfer entire limit. But I asked them to transfer without closing the card. So they said there's limit upto which limit can be transferred without closing the card. I think you need to leave atleast 10000 in card after transferring the limit.
 
Email support won't help with limit transfer, just call customer care and they will do it instantly (if old card is still showing up in your app).

Also if they decline your request, try calling them again after 5 minutes a different person will connect and he might do it.

Its tried and tested with me, I closed my ola money card and after 1 month I transferred its limit to my cashback card. 1st guy declined my request, and 2nd guy did it instantly.

I received a SMS too saying I am not eligible for limit bifurcation. I guess they will not budge and I have to make peace with it.
