What can be done if one receives frequent calls even after registering for DND?

Raise violation on the DND app or through SMS. They will take action in a few days. Once you do this for a few numbers, the telemarketers will know that you're not to be messed with and will remove your number from their database. Then the calls will stop. There won't be calls for a while till you give your number to some entity who doesn't have your number already. Then you'll start getting calls again and you've to repeat the process.

I don't give my number out anywhere but still receive 1-2 robocalls a week.

iOS does not have a DND app. But a redditor posted a shortcut here.

The calls have reduced since I started reporting them to TRAI via this shortcut.
You must write at least 3 words in the SMS that you send.
I usually write something like "Spam marketing robocall"
You can write your own shortcut, if you want.

I get resolution SMSs saying the telemarketer has received a warning, 2nd warning. Sometimes, that the number has been disconnected.
