What do cc issuers see while checking eligibility?

You need to be atleast 21 years old to get CC if applying online. However, offline application via known person or a 3rd party agent can be tried.

Go for axis,sbi cards. I think they provide cards for 18 and above.

Are you sure for SBI? As when I was trying to apply for Paytm SBI CC, it was asking 25+ age. Even their bank employee told me that same thing.

oh yes- although they're pretty liberal once you turn 21. I applied for it within an hour of me turning 21 and somehow got a 1.5l limit.

I got 2.5L. But when everyone is getting directly promoted from 1L to 4L, I got only 20k LE 😂

To answer the title of this thread, it's mostly one's credit worthiness, existing debt and credit hunger (to an extent) and definitely your repayment history.

To answer your question in the body of this thread, it's mostly due to your age. If rejections are mainly from Axis, then don't worry as they reject for no proper reason and they always have an answer ready when and if they reply if you ask them.

If you open a account in axis and maintain good balance with high number of transaction. You will get a pre-approved cc easily.

Yeah that's offline only. Branch ppl and agents can do that but in online they have equal algorithm/criteria which is applied to everyone. That's why not possible online.

Bro its always preferred to apply offline for maximum approval chances and most of the time they don't do physical verification as well.
