I have heard a lot about the "do anything" concierge from American Express; however, I am looking for any reliable concierge services other than AMEX. Do we have any close alternatives to AMEX in India?

I found that all the other banks, including Axis Bank and HDFC Bank, have tie-up with Aspire Lifestyles. But, they couldn't accommodate a rather simple request that I placed over email - I wanted tickets for Red Bull Showrun that is happening in Mumbai on 12th March - Very basic request, still they couldn't complete it. I am an Axis Reserve cardholder.

Please guide if anyone have had good experiences with concierge in India.

Magnus card holder - Called Axis service twice only to hear on both instance that Sir are services and severs are down. On the other hand Amex helped me with table bookings in one go.

Theve done a great job with hard product which is the card and benefits etc soft product like people and these services take very long time and mindset change a road organisation.

Is there any advantage doing through them compared to doing on our own? (when those tasks are not impossible to do our own. ex: not out of stock, not sold out etc.)
To me it is pure question of effort that I will personally put vs ask them to do given it is not sold out etc also I believe and not sure that things become easier if Amex concierge speaks to vendor and let's them know it ia for a Plat card holder.

I would use amex concierge if I could email them my requests. But since I have to call and go through spelling my name etc, its easier and faster for me to just do stuff online myself. So I haven't tried the concierge yet and don't think I will. From what I have read, the "do anything" is overhyped and mostly just marketing.

Earlier I used to think that if we book through them we'll get some special status like that but it's like normal booking and also with some what higher prices compared to our normal booking where we used to find some discounts.

As @moriarty said, if its for the sold out events, then no option we have to spend more and rely on them and it's woth it.

But, if it can be done through us, I'm ok to put that effort until unless I don't have time to book those tickets or events by myself for some reason.

And I heard in India, even AMEX is not that good. I mean most of the time if its sold out, its sold out.
I have heard a lot about AMEX concierge doing great stuff in India too. The Aspire Lifestyle, the on the other hand, doesn't have any "contacts" to get the things done. For example, re the Redbull Showrun tickets, their reply was that they have searched on BookMyShow, and it shows sold out (If it were available on BookMyShow, why would I contact them in the first place?).

I am very sure that this would not be the reply in case it was AMEX. They would have definitely have this sorted from their end.
