What is the trick to get better ICICI cards LTF

ULTRA-MAGNUS

TF Select
VIP Lounge
I hold Amazon pay card.
I wish to have another ICICI bank cred card.. preferably Sapphiro or other gemstone as LTF.
I guess after getting these card in a normal way and then mentioning that - "Make it LTF or else I would close it" doesn't seem to work these days.

If anyone in the past was successful in making their ICICI Sapphiro card LTF, please let me and this community know the trick in detail.

We would be very thankful for the help 🙂

No idea I have APay and HPCL Coral LTF. I am happy with these two cards only. Rest ICICI cards are not much useful to me.

Whenever you request something to bank, behave like that bank is in debt to you and you have to get it back within time otherwise you'll never get it later.

So, request or demand depends on other bank and your contribution to them. For some request will work, some demand works.

Always remind them, wait within timeline and request again.. and repeat the process.

It's your duty to recover it from that bank. Either they have to approve or put you in SPAM list* (decent approach never leads you here).

If you ever feel that the assignee won't approve your request, stop requesting wait for 2 to 3 days and start new thread (there is no official timeline unless they say so.. do not believe everything and do not accept everyrhing).
Very interesting thought process.
I can try that out.
Thanks

How did you get HPCL Coral LTF? Was it a direct offer from the bank? or did you upgraded your platinum card to HPCL Coral?
As far as I know, it is difficult to upgrade from Platinum to HPCL Coral as it's a petrol card and platinum is a regular card. If you're lucky the sales team may offer it to you LTF. I would suggest to call your RM in case you've a salary or a savings account with ICICI Bank.

I have a salary account since 2017,. I have asked for LTF rubyx which they don't seem to provide me with one
I once checked with ICICI and they told me that there is a SALARY threshold to get every card as LTF:

Net Salary:
1. 40,000 - 50,000: Any Petrol card and Coral.
2. 1,20,000 and above: You're eligible for Rubyx.
3. Above 2,00,000: You're eligible for Sapphiro and other premium cards.

Note: Now this threshold might have changed, but this is what I found upon checking! Also, it may differ from company to company you're working with.

As a holder of LTF Sapphiro, I won't recommend any ICICI Bank Card with the exception of Amazon Pay Card (Only ICICI Bank Card worth holding). The reward rate is pathetic (even some entry level cards offer way higher returns). Even lounge access is on minimum quarterly spend basis.

In case you still want a Sapphiro, if your salary is above 2 LPM and hold a salary account with the bank, they won't say no to you.
