What MCC code do you get when using Axis Cashback Credit card (Visa) on Flipkart?

I’ve seen many people having issues with SBI Cashback Credit Card — especially when they don’t receive 5% cashback on Flipkart. The problem often comes down to the MCC (Merchant Category Code) used for the transaction. Several users report that their Flipkart purchases are being coded under “Education” MCC or other ineligible codes, which kills their cashback.

When you make a purchase on Flipkart using Axis Bank’s Cashback credit card (Visa), what MCC shows up for that transaction on your card statement / monthly statement ?

Has anyone not got 5% cashback / got reduced cashback because of a surprising MCC (e.g. “Education” or something else) being assigned?

The cashback is tracked most of the times, but as you said due to different a MCC sometimes the full benefit is not posted on the statement.

Yes, multiple times. For flipkart and swiggy transactions. If the cashback amount is significant.
