When does bank do cibil enquiry?

I want to apply for hdfc and axis bank credit cards, but before applying i want to check what cards are being offered to me, so banks hit cibil while displaying cards or after submitting application?

Basically bank asks pan number and otp before applying list of cards, so at that time will they do a cibil enquiry and will my cibil drop or after submitting application they will enquire?

As soon as they get your PAN & OTP, hit happens. Mostly CIBIL drops (few points) but boosts after sometime if everything goes well.

Okay, then won't be taking risk.. actually wanted to apply for axis ace and check if it shows in the selection list, as i am not getting invite on gpay.
I have checked eligibility for me for Ace card using normal application as well as maximus application interface in last 2 days. There was no offer for me. I don't have cibil subscription but do have cibil account and I have not got any notification about any cibil hit. Will fetch my monthly free cibil report post 15th of this month to see if axis really made any cibil hit for me.

In Axis, I can confirm there won't be any cibil enquiry until the page where it shows the eligible cards list.
Note that I chose existing customer at the start of application. I am not sure about non-customer way.

You need to purchase subscription on cibil website to check anytime score and report. Otherwise once a year you can generate your cibil report there which will remain same till you generate again it next year. Hence, I am using any other freely available cibil score/report websites per month.

Checking your score/report on cibil website does not affect your score.

Here i will get credit score and report once a month right? Without affecting my credit score?

So every month we have to fill details and download report?
Also what if by mistake if we check before a month?
Yes every month fill same details. I saw somewhere in this forum even mentioned to fill exact same details every month to have that link working for you and giving you report.
If you check before month it depends on what data sbi homes webiste fetches for you from cibil and will give you that in report.
