Which Amex should i take?

So, i have finally decided i should get a amex card. checked with agent and eligibility. i am eligible for all of them. I need quite good help to decide between amex gold charge or platinum travel or platinum charge.

My monthly spends are easily above 2L region on online spends etc.

I think you are referring to companion cards, which are discontinued I believe.

You should go for Amex Plat Travel (APT).

APT is undoubtedly the best Amex credit card for annual spends of Rs 4 Lakh.

Especially for all those domains where other credit cards offer neither any Reward Points (RPs) nor any milestone benefits - like fuel, utilities, income tax, etc. Even though APT also does not offer any RPs on these spends, but that is more than generously offset by the bonus Membership Reward (MR) Points as spends on these domains count towards the annual milestones of Rs 1.9 Lakh and Rs 4 Lakh thereby generating bonus MR Points.

However, you must note that while online acceptance is stupendous - the offline acceptance is just the diametrically opposite and tends to gravitate towards horrendous.

Nevertheless, APT remains the King of Amex (all...?) cards for annual spends up to Rs 4 Lakh.
