Hey everyone! I’m looking for the best ways to save money & maximize rewards while booking railway tickets using credit cards or third-party apps.

I know about HDFC SmartBuy, but the mere 1% cashback isn’t exciting enough. So, I’d love to explore better options!

Other apps redirect to irctc and adds up many other charges like platform fee , payment gateway charges, etc .. which makes tickets more costly.
Other apps don't guarantee confirmation of ticket .
So best is official website or app.

I Use IRCTC aswell for booking. But I use Confrmtkt for looking trains. It has better UI and also shows alternative ticket routes. But yeah still I end paying IRCTC to avoid extra charges.

If you have cards like DCB and Infinia you have more avenues for savings monie while booking train tickets
