IndusInd - Don't have an account here. Applied for a Tiger CC in Dec 24 from my home adresss. All done till vkyc, and was showing eligible for aCL of 5L. Did my vylc from my workplace. After _ days recieved rejection mail.
Asked for the reason, they didn't care for 1m.
Made complaint with RBIO. A week later, they called for helping me to apply again. It didn't go through due to site error..Within another week realised that my home pincode is serviceable, and not my office pincode. On 20/2/25, an agent called me and forced me to apply again, saying she'll get it done fore.. I had told her about the pincode problem. The call indeed was from IndusInd, and she even mentioned her employer id. She told it will gone through.. She forced a lot, hence I tried. Even before vkyc, my application was rejected this time. She was on line with me the whole time. Told her this thing, and she hung up the phone. End of story..

No further mail from IndusInd regarding this RBIO complaint. Waiting for RBIO call, will submit the recording and original mails.

How shameful

Some of you may have chosen the worst bank/s based on your experience at the branch level. Every branch may have both good and bad employees. However, imo, we have to choose the worst bank/s based on other factors, such as technology, NB/MB experience, support from level 1 and PNO, etc.

Here's a recent example... Someone has the same first name as mine and mistyped my email when he filled the loan application. IndusInd bank didn't verify the email. There is no nearby branch. Never had any kind of account with them. Never gave any consent.

Forwarded the email to reachus@indusind.com and received only an automated response, so far. Will update if anything happens further.

Again IndusInd Bank.. They are really stoned huh !!!!! 😂

Based on my limited experience, most banks have good overall products, technology, apps, and internet banking. However, the quality of their customer service is worst. The branch staff and customer care representatives often lack knowledge and can be confusing.
Interactions with bank employees greatly influence our perception of the bank. If they are not competent, we may see the entire bank negatively.
It would be good to minimize human interaction in banks. Only go to a bank if necessary and try to complete most tasks online. Almost all services are available online for all banks. Take advantage of that.
When speaking to bank employees, be cautious as they may try to sell unnecessary products for their own gain or engage in mis-selling.

+1, very important points...you shared.

Banking is multi dimensional, multi layer , multiple stakeholder ...with different aspirations...so the Expectations...

(A sample out of 140 CR Indian's.)
At TF out of 50k member mostly can read and write English, know the basic rights.

But look at the diversity...
0bal bsbda or 1000 - 2500 mab to 5CR -10 cr TRV
Same with the CC...100 Rs 2K, 10k 25 k to 20-30-50 or more lakhs of limit.

Few things, if you read the RBI's white paper, All the licence issued to recently for SFB or Payment Bank are meant for specific purpose.

Moreover, Do we really do banking !!
(Our responsibilities as a customer)

Important Note New
I encourage more members to participate in this poll and share their valuable insights. No bank is perfect in every aspect each has its own strengths and weaknesses. The purpose of this poll is not to label any bank as completely inefficient but to identify those that are falling short in providing quality service. This awareness will help others make more informed banking decisions

All members are requested to share their experiences with the bank they voted for. This will help others make informed decisions when opening an account with that bank.

If any bank is missing from the list, please mention it in your message
. I also encourage everyone to vote based on their overall experience, not just their branch experience, as branch service quality can vary significantly.

Additionally, if you have faced any serious issues with a bank, please share them. This will help others understand potential challenges and be better prepared if they encounter similar situations.

I appreciate your reference ☝️✔️.

The problem with participating in this poll is that I have had few good experiences but mostly bad experiences dealing with customer care and contrasting experiences with the issuer banks themselves.

For e.g.
1. HDFC bank is pathetic to deal with for credit cards but their customer care is efficient.
2. Indusind Bank is easy to deal with and issue cards (IMO) but customer care is a headache to deal with.

Overall, each and every card issuer has failed in quality standards including AMEX, thanks to the stupendous cards issued in recent years.
