TF Select
I will be applying for a first card for my sibling who turned 18 recently.
I was thinking of getting an FD backed card against 5 Lakh FD and than get a C2C against this card after 3-4 months and than close that FD Backed card.
Anyone have any idea which bank gives C2C cards without checking the history of older card?

With 3-4 months history I doubt any bank is going to give you any card on C2C basis. Use the card for a year and then apply with any bank. Mostly all private banks accept application on C2C basis.

Keeping this much money in FD for 1 year is not worth the rewards offered byt these cards

Yes indeed - but do your research on where to invest - if money needed within 1-2 years better put in FD than in MF/equity or maybe Debt. This FD can also act as an emergency fund for you.

No need

Open hdfc ac for him

Ask him to spend on his debit card or your only.

If your buying things in online via hdfc discount then buy with that debit card

Your son will get pre-approved 100%

Or

Normally asl you son to do shopping on flipkart.

Axis flipkart credit card will get at 18.

Similar apay at 21.

On c2c indus, sbi on the way.

For selected pin codes kotak,au also giving pre-approved.

If fd means do idfc or kotak
