Which card/s to use for paying large utility bill.

Long story short, few years back our household electricity meter got destroyed and we applied for a replacement. Due to some error on the electricity board dept, we were getting electricity but no bill was being genearated. This went on for few months, we wrote to electricity board but no response. We filed in the court to save ourselves from any penalties or legal cases. Cut to today, the back and forth is finally over and court has ordered the electricity department to bill us for the time at our last usage and no penalties or late fees. Now the bill is just under 3L.

So how should I go about paying it? I have Indusind legend with 4.6L limit, Apay with 4.2L limit, Axis Myzone with 3L limit, SBI Simplyclick with 1.8L limit. I still have to get confirmation if I can pay it in tranches or it has to be in a single transaction.

Should I even use cc, considering the big amount? The bill would be residential and clearly mention the arrear. We also have court documents to prove that it was a residential payment and not commercial. This would be a one-off thing though.

But even for 6th Bill I am getting all other Options
May be they know about your famous bamboo 😂😂😂

Different connection doesn't work atleast for my account

Even I read somewhere that 15k limit is from last 30 days, it doesn't have to be calander months -don't know if it's true or not but as my payment is always higher so not using it anyhow

Amazon Bill payment system limits only 25K but above 15K only Amazon pay UPI option is there. So only upto 15K is accepted by your amazon Pay CC.Even in tranches of 15K ,you cant pay the whole bill on amazon.

But now again it is calender Month.

But would this help in acquiring magnus? Heard that axis card holders with 3L or above limit get this card pre approved. So was thinking maybe spending a big amount on it might make that faster. Card is 3 month old.
You can't say anything for sure.. you anyways have good limit in apay so you can apply for magnus C2C basis offline. @Alwàys_Bélîevé_Yøursélf🎯 can help you for this

So an update, bill has been finalized to be 2.25L. Can't be paid in tranches. Only real option is to directly pay on the electricity board's website. Options are Axis myzone, Indusind legend and AmazonPay.

I am leaning Indus, fed up with them so if they decide to take some action over such a payment, no loss. However I am thinking of contacting their customer care first and inform them of this transaction, in order to avoid any confusion(lol considering the state of indusind's customer care).

Anything else should I consider?

On Biller website amount is Pre-Filled ?

If the Meter is of Prepaid then one can pay any mannual amount but if it is Postpaid like then Only billed amount and no random amount for Direct payment from Provider Apps/Website.

For third party apps payment amount is prefilled AFAIK.
Mostly it would be pre filled.

If it is prepaid then I do not think bill will accumulate to 2.5 lakh.
Paisa phle seva baad m.
