Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in April 2025

Well, just completed a transaction in freecharge for 2000. merchant was freechutil and points got credited instantly.

I did trxn on freecharge around 1AM today, and it gave instant points under FREECHUTIL.

I have paid all my bills now, and will have to worry if freecharge working or not next month on 20th when my bills generate.

From App menu.. it shows updated points real time. This value did not change after making payment

Are you using freecharge app or website? Most people are now getting the updated merchant name which is not rewarding points

I did two transactions just now... Both got failed and money was deducted... happened for the fist time with me... have been using freecharge since last one month.

Points got credited instantly though ... hope the refund happens in 3-4 days

Apply SBI Virtual RuPay debit card and pay cc bill via phonepe app, paytm app, freecharge app, billdesk website without any extra charges on RuPay.

Amex and SCB bank cc bill also supported via billdesk using RuPay variant.

Virtual visa user block card and apply virtual RuPay debit card

Of course you will get reward points too on all these websites/apps.

why are you panicking. Try the freecharge website and pay through rupay card. Merchant should be "freechutil". if it's not coming, try with a different number and wait for 24 hrs before trying again..

Yes it will be refunded in 4-7 days, I got my refund today

Just paid 400 Rs using IDFC first tap DC on Freecharge with merchant name freechutil
And got the rewards instantly

Don't spread panic, Just now did payment for 13K, Got Merchant name- Freechutil & got instant points.
