Yes I got it. I used idfc rupay card. I don't remember on the app UI, but in the transaction receipt it's mentioned as FREECHUTIL.

After filling debit card details on payment page, error comes - try again. Why is it so?

yes, its not stable just like canara setu. Need good alternative like unipay & phonepe. both were stable.

I have never used Phonepe, and I pay from my laptop, not apps. My experience has been exactly opposite with the other two!

UniPay has proved to be extremely temperamental, and painful to use.

Freecharge, however, has been very dependable so far, and much easier to use.

Freecharge seems to have blocked me now giving error .. contact customer care. Any other option now. Any chances they will allow payment after some cooling period

Could you please elaborate on why freecharge is not an alternative for phonepe? Specifically in the context of credit card payments? Are you referring to its instability, failed transactions etc? Or something else?

Ohhhh got it thanks...edit: looks like it was temporary issue, gave it a one last try and payment went through "FREECHUTIL"

Worked fine for me. use freecharge on desktop and points got credited instantly.

This party is over but you can use Freecharge but make sure merchant name is "freechutil". Use desktop if app doesn't gives this name.

Don't have other numbers to make account there. Tried with laptop, app both but still it gives this error. Unable to process order. Contact customer care. And there is no way you can contact customer care- choose any options on ivr and you will be told to look into app in the end and call will disconnect. Maybe their systems can't take that much load. Phonepe was just seamless.

Wait for few days. If still not resolved itself, send email to freecharge to permanently close your account. They will do it in few hours after confirming from you. After 24 hours make new account with same number. 🙂

Oh really. Will try after as a day or 2. I closed Phonepe, it later allowed me do all things except revive wallet. Hope will be same with FC. But it will again block in a day or two it seems- they just don't seem to take large payments.
