My mom has 1 LTF Regalia First credit card which is 15 years old. She is salaried.

What LTF Credit card can I apply for her on C2C basis ?
Her limit on existing CC is 7,35,000.
Cibil score 804.

I am new here and myself not aware about a lot of Credit cards.
Thank you.

Benefits looking for-
- Airport lounge access
- Movie tickets offer
- Partner offers while making purchases
- decent reward rate

What benefits are you looking for??
Please mention it as well in the post as well for better suggestions.

Please clarify if domestic or international lounge.. Idfc select or wealth based on salary for domestic lounge and movie.. Isn't Regalia giving you lounge access?
Yes, it is giving, but since she has only 1 credit card and an excellent Cibil score, I thought she could benefit from some other credit cards too.

Also, HDFC's lounge access list is limited, it is different for different banks. Having other banks cc would benefit her.

Thanks @vinrey287 for the suggestion. Her IDFC wealth got instantly approved as she had a 2 year old saving account with them and a FD.

I'm 6 months new to this game but have been feeding rapidly & voraciously (on TF data, not food yet 🙁 - Medical issues 😀 ).

Let me give you an Exec Summary:

You'll have to define your priorities on the above 4 as thats too vague & broad especially for wanting an LTF card.

You have to choose some directionality. Its like I want a WOW vacation that has it all.. without any specific CONSTRAINTS.
  • Ideally you LEAN on HDFC and.or an old existing banking relationship to fruition towards a "better" Card and then do an LTF request.

  • If unlimited domestic lounges is the focus, then I think BOB Eterna has the lowest fee with unlimited; apply & try LTF tricks.

  • PS: I got Magnus due to medical related travel and wanted unlimited lounge access.
    • 10 K Fees, But with the 10K full voucher (and Gold bar hack which I just missed) it felt kinda worthy to have.
    • I've not been able to go for any movies except 1+1 with a family member once, so Magnus has not been used much.
      • I know folks who'd probably using BMS/ Movie stuff way more.
    • I dont eat out a lot in general, health prevents it more.
      • So that perk remains largely untilized.
      • You need to figure if that matters
  • Rewards & Cashback were not on my agenda at the time, but since I started shopping recently..
    • I discovered that it is whole another mathematical & complex game,
    • Which is very much based a PERSONS "PURCHASING" Direction, Patterns & Habits.
      • Online/ Offline or Dining or Delivery or Fuel or Clothes vs Luxury etc etc. ...
    • And their "goals/ avenues" on redemption of those EARNINGS
      • (as CB or Points/ Miles equivalents) towards Shopping or Travel.
So until you can constrain and prioritize you are in La la Land.

Its like saying, I want BEST SOFTWARE... I ask, To DO WHAT? .. You: Everything 😛 ..

Dont be so vague.

You need to ask similar question WITHIN YOUR HEAD of her and yourself (what cards you have / will be you using/ add on to hers)?

I'm planning to open an HDFC account for my mother.. (will club it with my classic Family ID).

Her Cibil is NH. Are there any chances to get Millenia CC LTF for her?? Would it even get approved?
(I would be okay to consider opening an account with 1L ip if really necessary. She's self employed.)

But does HDFC even issue Millenia cards to NH cibil?

Millennia has age eligibility between 21 & 40 years.
