Which phone are you currently using?

What made you think so? I am an iPhone user too, but S23U is league ahead in terms of camera. Samsung has the best cameras in flagship devices.
S23U is S*** in terms of camera you need 3 Apps to use the Camera to its full potential if its this complicated I would rather use my Sony Mirror Less .
Only thing that makes sense is Amoled and Spen .
IP is leagues ahead in terms of everything as its Absolutely Consistent across all kinds of Scenarios.
My Biggest Regret wasting Money on S23U , initially I wanted to go for Pixel 7P but 80K for 128Gb made Zero Sense .
:
Samsung experience has been Pathetic S23U had Display kink on its bottom side which Samsung didn't acknowledge , A Premium Device with Manufacturing Defect and the Brand expects you to accept it .
:
Sadly my device had this issue too to get it replaced I had to fight with Service Centre as well as Reliance Store they have a 14days Replacement scheme if Device has issue but they didn't buzz initially later after a ton of back and forth they complied which ruined my experience ,
:
You might think you're paying so much for a Samsung you will get Premium Customer Experience but you wont I bought a Silicon Case for S23U from their Auth Website it also had manufacturing defect and started breaking apart within 20 days on ownership I dropped a mail they delayed it till 30day mark had reached and denied replacement .
:
I bet if It was Amazon or Apple they would have gladly replaced as a gesture of goodwill but not Sammy !
:
Samsung Pays really well to Influencers they create Fake Hype without substance !
:
Things I like Amoled , Spen ( Quick Note ), Battery Life ,Ram Management
:
Things I hate overall Experience of Ownership and After Sales , Camera , Built .
I always carry two devices an IP and Pixel(Mostly a series) this time made a mistake and picked Sammy !

Totally get the harassment you had to face. One shouldn't face such after paying a hefty premium for flagship devices. I can agree on the customer support part. Even Apple 3rd party customer support is sometimes horrible, their own customer support team is awesome, but I took my MacBook to an Imagine store once, and they hardly knew about the specs of the MacBook and were constantly arguing with me that only one USB-C is capable of display support and others are not, while it was clearly mentioned in the spec sheet that two display can run parallel on M1 pro. Anyway, regarding the camera part, I would love to disagree. IPhone selfies in low light or indoors are shitty as hell. Which three apps are you talking about for taking good photos on Samsung? I have a friend who is a professional photographer, and he takes nice pics with his s21 Ultra without using any 3rd party apps.

These are Samsung Apps you need Camera Assistant to unlock all the Pro camera features .
I have had great experience with apple and never take your apple device to Resellers Service but to Third Party Apple Pickup Points (Stand Alone Apple Service Centre like Macintel or F1 ) If it happens to be a new Device they ship it directly to Bangalore for repair or testing for replacement they mostly wont fiddle with the device like Imagine or IDestiny .

In 2015 I dropped my iPhone 6s within 15days of purchase there was a hairline crack on the display I gave it to apple to get a battery replacement as my device was under the device serial number affected by battery issue they replaced the screen and battery for free .
( Apple also committed an extended warranty to only the battery for next 3 Years for all affected phones )
You can never expect this from Sammy .

Recently some folks with Sammy S22U have reported display issue after OTA which is scary considering its just an year old phone Sammy plays these dirty tricks at times where average IPhone last at least 4-5Years .

My father use to be a Samsung Fan till his Note 8 broke after an OTA he lost data since been using Apple .
For such an expensive device like the S23U I expect better .

Just curious to know which phone (Brand and model) people are using these days. Buying a new phone seemed to be fun earlier now its a drab experience, thus the question.
Let me start, Samsung S21
I Have been using Iphones since its Launch so with My Iphone 14 pro max for now will upgrade with 16

For me phone's slimness and hand feel (lightweight and easy to hold) matters quite a lot and so am ready to comprise on top end processor specs for that plus a clean Android UI.
One plus used to fullfill this criteria untill a few years ago , after which I shifted to the new one plus i.e Motorola last year with their moto edge 40 model.
I am impressed by the value for money this offers.

Apple is known for its service over the years I have never faced any warranty issues, if their phone malfunction they will replace
them.

Using Samsung S23 Ultra. Absolutely fantastic. Battery life is great with 8 to 9 hours SOT even on 5g. Great cameras. I don’t even take any DSLR on trips now. Upgraded after using S22 Ultra for 6 months. That was great as well but had a very mediocre battery life. Before that tried Samsung Fold 3 and it was decent but very poor battery life and the issue with the screen protector and the screen itself cracking due to folding and unfolding made me exchange it. In addition, even though the large screen was great, a lot of the time one ended up using the tiny outside screen. So have used 3 phones in the past year. Before that was the Huawei Mate 20x which is a fantastic phone with a 7.2 inch screen. I really miss the large phones with the traditional form factor. All current phones are tiny.

Hmm... I feel S24U isn't worth upgrade.
For just sake of few AI features or tiny upgrades.

What you say?

Looks like s24u is just AI Al only nothing that much worthy of upgrade. And s24+ & S24 sucks at Exynos Samsung might launch snapdragon varient in India after some time just like s21Fe.

Current using s21 fe cameras are worth battery sucks 😞. 2nd phone is NP2 it's worth of everything except camera's 🙂.
