I am planning to apply for Magnus credit card, can someone please help me which is the best way to apply. Can we apply thru online or thru agents or directly in the bank.

As I don't have Axis Bank account, do I need to open one..?
I have the eligible salary limit for Magnus and I hold Amex travel card and Regalia Card. Please guide me.

The apay card is more than 1 year old
Is it just a one time transaction? Magnus gives the value of the card in times when compared to other cards. See for eg. You spend 100k in international transactions for a month, so what you’ll get will be 31k ER and around 24.8k miles. Now you’ll have to see how much the reward rate is being able to get you in terms of miles or hotel stays. When converted in percentage, it’ll be more than 20%. Now as I told you before that there are other Gyftr and TravelEdge and Grabdeals transactions which will further earn you ER in abundance.

My suggestion will be to get the card if you “can”. What’s going to happen after a year can not be assumed right now. There is a high possibility of devaluation from Axis as this model is unsustainable even for a bank their size. But I’d say get the most out of it while you can.
As I said, If you can, then get this w/o a second thought. There are other features of this card which hold further value. The BMS, Lounges, etc will serve you well.
You’ll not be disappointed at all in any regard with this card.

I am looking to apply for the Axis Magnus and I have amex smart earn with me with a limit of just below 4 lac (3.8 lac) 6 months old and Amazon pay cc with limit above 4 lac. I have upcoming international expenses above 1 lac in next month and could be more this year. I was thinking of applying Axis magnus and can take welcome benefit in form of booking flight . For now I have been mainly using sbi cb card for my major expenses and my monthly usual expenses are 15k to 20k . Should i go for Axis Magnus or any other card?

Tagging you all for any input basis on your experience so far? Please tag anyone else who might have more insight.

You will need at least 1 year old card for applying Magnus on C2C basis, since your Amex is 6 months old, it won't going to work afaik. Magnus is proven to be good due to its milestone or you will end up paying heavy fee for nothing.

If you can spend 1L for at least 4-5 months in a year then I think Magnus is a good card to hold. Rest I would suggest you to go through the thread as some of the guys here already mentioned.

Yea i think i will be able to hit the milestone at least 3-4 times given international transactions are counted

Applied for Magnus through online method on June 23. Docs (Salary Slips and IDs) collection happened on June 27. Application progress and processing time is very slow. Finally, got the card today but with a sad 3L limit. I already have 3 credit cards with 6L limit.
Should have gone for offline C2C method for 6L limit.

Yes,Chances are good that you may have got the same limit if you have opted for C2C method.
