Jupiter says that one needs to link their UPI ID with Jupiter savings account to enable UPI ID and once it gets activated, one can then immediately disable the savings account. Else it would show as Invalid UPI when trying to pay by manually entering UPI ID. Was that the case with you?

That answers the question. You only have credit card relationship and yet your UPI ID works, means Jupiter is talking nonsense.

Dont remember exactly. Been >1yr since I m using Jupiter. But as far as I remember, yes I had linked one of my savings accounts to do UPI transactions through Jupiter( this was back when Jupiter was giving 1-2% jewels for every UPI transaction through Jupiter app

At that time I had just downloaded Jupiter app like any other UPI app (didnt even have their credit card). They were giving an offer of some 2% jewels cashback on every UPI scan and pay via any bank's Rupay credit cards, done through Jupiter app. I had saved my Indian Bank Rupay CC in Jupiter for this purpose. I dont exactly remember if I had saved my other bank Savings account before or after saving my Rupay CC for UPI in Jupiter
I don’t have Jupiter savings still they allowed no issues in linking upi not sure if they have changed something now or it could be a lie or technical issue

You cannot delink primary savings account...I am not sure what is your concern to link savings account. Bhai itna mat socho...Either link or uninstall jupiter.
I thought it was clear from my questions that I am trying to verify if Jupiter's claims are factually correct.
