What I meant was, if I choose statement credit, is it so like it gets applied only when you pay the bill via Jupiter app? Which means you loose on the cash back on the remaining amount which you could have obtained by paying via other ways. Or is it so like, if you choose statement credit, it just gets applied to the current bill and then you are free to pay the remaining amount by whichever way you want?
its same like making a payment to the card
U can do statement credit and pay the rest amount of bill through any app to get extra cashback. Like if ur current bill is 10k and u redeem Rs.1k worth of jewels as statement credit then ur pending bill will automatically reduce to 9k. This u can pay through Slice or other app for extra cashback.
So with BBPS, when it fetches the bill via other apps, it will show the remaining amount and not the full bill amount?
Yes correct. In Slice it automatically shows the new reduced pending amount

I might have missed that screen when launching the app for the first time or that screen was never presented to me.
Option to change billing cycle is available under Credit Card Settings -> About your card
I get the option to view the billing cycle details here, not to edit.
how to use slice to pay other cc bill?
Go to Explore section-->bills-->credit card and add ur CC to pay the bill.
scroll down a bit, you will see update bill cycle options.
go back and scroll
Cash redemption option is available only for Jupiter savings account holders. Not for CC-only customers.
but cant u redeem jewels against cc outstanding?
