Same issue I faced when taking refund from traces website, I had to change my name from M John to John Kennedy Kumar in Aadhaar and PAN card.

Later, I faced issue with Marriott as Marriott accepts only first and last name, it doesn’t accept middle name

you are lucky to have some decent aadhar centre guys who understands the issue.. i am not so lucky. They are stubborn that UIDAI wont accept passport as a proof.

Just apply directly through UIDAI website. They do accept passport for name change / correction.
