World Safari Travel Insurance

Hello TF Community, if anyone has actually availed the RBL World Safari complimentary Travel Insurance for a foreign trip:
1. could you let us know if it was accepted for the VISA approval?
2. Is it only available for the first year of the card issuance?

Could not find anything solid on search, hence the post.
 
and which all countries are mentioned in it?
Like, for travel insurances, the premiums and coverages are based on where you travel to and how many days.
In this policy, does it say worlwide or does it mentioned which all countries the policy covers?
Worldwide excluding India.

I have opted for world safari card recently and I spotted this during my first statment. Do I need to send SMS to opt for Insurance or any steps to be followed ?

Guddi is right. No action needed from your end. You should get the email in a month or so.

An email requests for your details - name, passport, DOB etc.

Once you confirm that, you'll get the insurance in the next email.
Also, you'll get automated yearly renewal by email.

As I have my trip in next week. I hope to have this earlier from RBL but understood it takes a circle time from them to issue the insurance cover.

Wrote them back and got a standard response as check with care insurance from CS. Anyways to expedite ?

I'm afraid I don't know. Maybe try escalating to regional head and then nodal desk?
 
  1. Contact details of escalation team at RBL - I'm afraid I don't know. I didn't need it so far, luckily.
  2. Customer care team concern - CARE insurance is responsible here. It is not the RBL team that does everything
  3. Dont know about the screenshot norms
