I thought of making a similar post about all the free atms I have found across the world, but it is not feasible. The usage rates keep varying from time to time and it would be hard to keep updating it. By the way, HSBC doesn't charge for atm withdrawals in most countries. Indonesia has another bank called BCA that doesn't charge any fees.

Also, Euronet ATMs are fine. I've used it myself. You've just got to find the option to decline the conversion they offer(and that option is cleverly hidden away). Euronet gives us a very high withdrawal limit(or no limit) which is handy for a fee of €4. But yes, most of the time, the local banks everywhere charge you little to no atm fees. In France, look out for BNP or La Poste.
Sacom is free as per 2022 info and agri is next best with lowest fees
Hard to find HSBC, but it's usually free. The more commonly available free options in Vietnam are TP and VP bank.

Euronet uses another new trick these days, which is, balance and withdrawal option merged together. Better to avoid this ATM as scam is in its DNA.

That can be avoided(again cleverly hidden). But you're right most people should avoid it.
They already earn around $400M in profits. XD
