Also the comment section is interesting , even in US, AUS, its acceptance is little less due to high MDR

In Australia Amex was forced to reduce mdr for few merchants to prevent them from avoiding amex cards altogether. Hope Amex does the same in India too.(they have started negotiating lower mdr for few category merchants). The moment some merchants see Amex card in our hand their tone, behaviour everything changes as if they will go bankrupt with that.
