i saw a banner in my google news feed, BOB is onboarded for GodX card. may be they send apply option soon for the eleigible customers, may be withn 1-2 years

Yes but it can only be considered live if anyone actually applies through Uni app and the flow redirects them to the BOB variant of Uni. If there's a CIBIL enquiry by Yes Bank and the card declined for already having another Yes Bank CC, then that'll be a pity

Are they forcing the upgrade or is the nx wave still active? My sister got a message that the card is being upgraded but the nx wave page is still live and it has an option to apply

SBM NX Wave is inactive and closed. Yes Bank NX Wave is being auto upgraded to Gold X. People with SBM Uni are receiving misleading messages to apply for Gold X but customer care told it will just redirect to Yes Bank. They said they will inform they SBM Uni customers with already 1 Yes Bank credit card can apply for BOB Uni.

People with SBM Uni are receiving misleading messages to apply for Gold X but customer care told it will just redirect to Yes Bank. Has anyone applied for a Uni credit card using a mobile number that is not linked to Aadhaar? I'm looking for a RuPay credit card for UPI on my secondary mobile. Also, I have a Yes Bank Kiwi credit card. Has anyone received a Bank of Baroda card?

I got a callback from them saying that there's been a delay in their new partner banks onboarding. They said they will inform us when other banks besides Yes Bank are available for Uni. I was furious and yelled at them and said this was not acceptable. If SBM Bank was closing their Uni card business, they should have made arrangement to migrate us in advance. They just kept saying sorry. I told them I will move to Scapia or some other card since last time Uni took more than a year to give us a credit card after it shut down the pre-paid 1/3rd card.

Please give some details. Were you an existing customer of Uni card by SBM Bank? Or are you new to Uni card / new customer?

No not yet. I called again today and the credit card customer care person listened to my case then transferred my call to his senior who also confirmed that those who already had SBM Bank Uni card will need to wait a little longer. The BOB Uni invites are slowly going out to selected users so the team will call us and guide us on call when applying for the card to make sure we don't accidentally apply for the Yes Uni card. Right now for existing Uni SBM customers, the option is not live for BOB Uni Gold X Card (that's what he said on call), so if I apply now, it will go to Yes Bank only and an unnecessary CIBIL hit will happen. They are unlocking BOB Uni Gold X card option in existing Uni SBM card users selectively. BOB Uni Gold X is at the moment only being issued to those who are new to Uni cards completely (who didn't have Uni SBM credit card or Uni SBM Pay 1/3rd credit line card)
