Regarding kotak everyday savings account opening for 811 super savings account holder

Hi All.
Kotak branch people are denying to open kotak everyday savings account saying i already have 811 super savings account which was opened few months back. Want to have everyday debit card for eazydiner offer.
Can someone help regarding the same? Sent mail to nodal officer but no response.
Planning to file rbi ombudsman complaint after 30 days

There's also an Everyday Savings account other than Everyday Salary account

No, I see it is available for Everyday Savings account also as you can see on this link

i have 811 super and got everyday savings account created.

They rejected me after a week citing multiple accounts not allowed as reason.
When I visited them to open this account, they took a cheque from me and all the details to open everyday savings account , I have also filled the account opening form.

They r unaware of this option or dont want to put efforts. Try with another branch maybe. I have opened and have 2 accounts now.

Branch has to manually apply if you already have 811 account along with everyday. Don't know in a case when everyday is the only account you have with kotak.

In either case, branch can apply.

Wait, if 811 account is already there and we want to open Everyday account, then approval would be needed from "Everyday" product team, isn't that how it works?

Oh! Well my situation is a bit different. I have 811 full KYC account and Kotak Everyday a/c (opened with approval). Now 811 Super is being denied whereas many people got 811 Super first and then opened Everyday a/c. I went to branch, wrote to Nodal officer, then PNO. Declined at every stage saying "You have Everyday account so not eligible". What unfair game is Kotak playing

Yes different. I converted to super before applying for Everyday.

It has 30% up to ₹500 discount on EazyDiner with no minimum order value. So the same savings as 811 Super PVC card but in a single sureshot txn. No MCC hell and finding new ways to get ₹500 every month. Until March 2025, it also had RuPay Platinum offer on Amazon (20% off up to ₹100) on the RuPay variant of the Everyday debit card

10K MAB. DC 300 charges but I easily get them reversed by calling customer care.

Now the Everyday debit card is dead ... 30% off upto Rs. 250 that too valid once a month on EazyDiner.

My case is just the opposite, I'm thinking of getting Everyday savings account converted to 811 Super savings account, is it possible? Or, do I need to close Everyday savings account first and then apply for a fresh 811 Super savings account?
