Thinking of closing my wealth savings ac. Anyone can share how to do it online?

I tried calling idfc cs for closing the select account. Unfortunately they couldnt send sms for closure consent.. They asked me to visit nearest branch.

IDFC online Account Closure Procedure:

Kindly download account closure form online and fill it. Fill in all required fields, including your name, account number, reason for closure and your signature.

Attach Required Documents:

Identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)

Passbook (if issued)

latest account statement

Emailing the digitally signed form to customer care or uploading via the online banking portal. After processing, you’ll receive confirmation of closure and transfer of any remaining balance within 3–7 working days.

Same Form can be submitted offline via branch too.

Email customer care. They will send closure consent sms. No need to share closure form. I have closed the account within a min and balance amount was sent to another account i mentioned during the closure.
