From where are you usually applying for the sbi phonepe black card? Is it directly through phonepe? If so, how is the kyc process? I was told that there is only in person kyc and video kyc?
Anyone who applied for this card, pls advise the best medium to apply for easy and faster process

Any idea if we have video kyc in phonepe? Is it quick?

It depends on case to case. For my wife, they had vkyc and voice call verification but application is still not approved. For my daughter, they did vkyc, followed with voice call verification, no digilocker and got approved message in 1 hr and today got email that card will be dispatched in 7 working days.

Does it help if we have any existing sbi credit card like prior relationship with sbi cards? Just trying to understand the pattern here

Using PhonePe UPI or UPI through Cred only? Asking as with UPI through cred the name coming is Cred Giftcard on the Upi pin page.
Also other app UPI option is disabled for this transaction

Oh nice, so basically UPI payments through SBI PhonePe Select Black RuPay CC via CRED UPI will give 5% return?!
Also, can someone please confirm if the reward points earned can definitely be redeemed as credit in the statement? If yes, then can that be done each month? How much time after the transaction do they add the reward points earned for it? Is there any redemption fee?

The general UPI scan and pay gives only 1% cb. But utility spends on phonepe gives 10% for UPI. Can anyone confirm if we get 5% cb for all the UPI spends on this card?
