Hi everyone
When I checked my axis Bank app now, I just see that a newly issued Indian oil rupay card is showing in the app . I didn't apply/upgrade for any Indian oil card or gives any consent for the same. Then how axis issued the card without my consent and knowledge??? Really shocking & unbelievable!!!! It's my first time issue from axis. How they are supposed to issue this card as I recently upgraded my airtel rupay card. Need your valuable suggestions whether to go with RBI or not???

Thank you for writing to Axis Bank.

This is with reference to your complaint raised at The Office of Banking Ombudsman in relation to credit card 652922XXXXXX1234 reflecting in CIBIL.

The reference number for the interaction is: N2025248472639377 and 250009252415 with the bank.

As per our investigation we wish to submit as below:

You holds a credit card number 652922xxxxxx1234.

Due to a technical glitch in the new "Olive/OLCCA" digital channel resulted in the incorrect issuance of credit card.

Our concerned team has already cancelled the affected cards from system.

No joining or annual fees will be charged. The concerned team has ensured no negative reports are made to CIBIL and we have raised request for CIC suppression to the concerned bureaus.

We regret our inability to compensate at this point of time as corrective actions were taken in a timely manner.

The Bank’s stance in the matter has been reviewed and approved by the Bank's Internal Ombudsman.

We request your understanding and kind cooperation in this regard.

We thank you for banking with us & look forward to your continued patronage.

Note:- Interactions are tracked via the Service Request number. We request you not to change the subject line in future correspondence.

We assure you the best of our services.

They simply rejected the compensation even they done this kind of fraud. Didn't provide any written confirmation regarding non liability certificate, no confirmation on removal of reported card to cibil, note provided copy of investigation report and didn't mention who issued the card and how they bypassed the OTP authentication, no compensation.
