SBI Simply Click card fee reversal (No transactions)

Is there a way I can get annual fee reversal for my sbi simply click card? I haven't done any transactions from the card since the annual fee was charged. The card is not of much use for me as they are only giving 40k limit. I'm okay with even closing the card.

just call them and say i am not using the card so wishes to close the card or make it LTF they might convert to LTF.

if the fee is already charged, you need to pay the fee before closing the card, right? why didnt you do this before the fee being charged? In that way, you could safely close the card if they dont agree to convert the card to LTF
