HSBC Live+ Cashback Card 10%, 1.5%, 0% Offer Fullfilment Sheet - MCC

Inspired by SBI Cashback Card Sheet and Swiggy HDFC MCC Code website, I went ahead and started a HSBC Live+ Cashback Card sheet.

By default, most Swiggy 5% and SBI 5% cashback merchants in grocery would qualify for HSBC Live+, however I would only request you to add those which you have actually transacted for.

One USP of this is to also see which Grocery and Dining merchants (offline) use correct MCCs to credit 10% Cashback.

Sheet here: HSBC Live+ Cashback Card Sheet

I made 2 transactions on a local grocery store on different dates and chat support is telling that one transaction comes under MCC 5331 (1.5%) and other transaction is under MCC 5411 (10%). is there a mistake or something else I need to check before doing transactions?

If the shop is using wrong mcc then there's nothing u can do

Btw do shopkeepers get any negative/positive for MCC
Yes, depending on the category and negotiations things can be different.
The charges also vary for card type too, like if its Amex, Visa etc, and a reason why AMEX is not accepted because it charges a lot.
Sometimes there could be offers too like few PSU banks were charging nothing for Rupay based cards for a while and some were offering free for a year and can be negotiated.

For example, here is what Razorpay discloses about its charges:
