(Payzapp Wallet to CC bill pay trick added) Which Debit Card to use for Credit Card Bill Payment in (October 2025)

Payzapp doesnt allow to store this card, we can proceed by entering manually everytime.

Zap wallet -> Add money -> Add new card -> pay via GPR card manually. It works.
i raised a ticket on Payzapp.
Will drop a mail to ebixcash.

Can you check your transaction on Ebix wallet.
Mine shows "GPR-Purchase-Internet Transaction OFFUS". Is it the same for you as well?

@Abhishek012 - What is the MCC of SBI Unipay Credit Card Bill payment?
Has it changed recently?
Use SBI RuPay debit card and you can use anywhere for credit card bill payment like paytm, phonepe, freecharge, canara setu, billdesk website etc. No extra charges on RuPay transaction.

Also get reward points. Virtual card users also block and apply SBI Virtual RuPay debit card.

Both physical and virtual debit cards gain reward points, right?

SBI RuPay debit card - you can use anywhere except wallet load and get rewards and no extra charges on RuPay.

Virtual card limit - 50k per day
Physical Global RuPay - 75k per day
Physical RuPay Platinum - 2 lakhs per day (im not sure but i think some other RuPay Platinum give higher limit more than 2 lakhs per day)
Physical RuPay Pragati Platinum - 5 lakhs per day
As per my knowledge, the max reward rate is 0.5% if we spend a lakh per month. Everything else is 0.25%. Is this correct?

Do you know any other debit card giving good rewards on tax payment?

I used to pay my advance taxes through the wealth debit card and that is history now.

I have the following debit cards: indusind signature select visa, hdfc platinum visa debit card, millenia debit card, federal bank, canara, bank of varoda rupay select cards.

I am also open to open a new account to get some reward points on tax payment. I have around 5L to be paid.

Hi everyone,
I need some expert guidance on credit card bill payments and cashback offers.

  • SBI Card: Bill already generated, last date of payment is 7 Nov 2025
  • ICICI, HDFC, AXIS: Bills will be generated on 2 Nov 2025
Total bill amount is around ₹1.2 lakh.
Can anyone please guide me how I can get cashback or rewards while making these bill payments?

Currently, I have an HDFC Platinum (old) Debit Card and 6 cards (mine + family).
Also, I’m planning to upgrade to the HDFC Millennia Debit Card next month — please suggest if it’s really worth it for bill payment rewards or if there’s any better option.

Thanks in advance for your help — this guidance will really help me optimize my payments and get some cashback benefit.
