Jupiter is nonsense app. They onboarded customers on the name of zero AMB and zero charges for virtual debit card and then they introduced AMB of 5k and debit card charges as well even for existing customers who they had onboarded on the promise of 0 charges and even the intimation of introduction of charges was never sent on mail. I had moved to canara bank long time ago and was not even aware of AMC being implemented in Jupiter and deposited some money in this jupiter but i lost all the money immediately by Jupiter itself in the name of non maintanence of AMC and when some folks had send me money on jupiter then it got debited again by Jupiter itself in the name of E-com POS decline fee @Rs30 everytime and now when i want to close my a/c in jupiter it tells me to first pay Rs 900 something which came from absolutely nowhere and i have seen posts on reddit ppl facing the same issue.
I have attached image for reference.

edit - did receive the mail but it was only twice and that too way back in April, 2023

That’s why I never trust these Fintech companies for opening savings accounts or getting credit cards—no matter how attractive their offers look. They burn cash to lure customers for a short time and later pull cheap tricks to exploit them. Traditional banks are far better; at least they don’t devalue cards quickly or change savings account terms and conditions overnight like this.

Jupiter is also a fraud about referrals of their credit card. My friend who had not even heard of Jupiter - I referred him to it. He got referral jewels but I got nothing. When escalated they first lied that my friend did not use my referral link. Then I sent screenshot of my friend getting referral jewels to which they said he used someone else's referral not mine. 🤥Now case is with RBI.

I had their bank account and closed just after they introduced MAB and charges for debit card. I have their jupiter edge+ CC. It's a good card so keeping it.

Did you ever recd. a "mail" from them regarding introduction of MAB and charges for debit card? If yes, can you pls share a ss of that mail with subject line and date and sender email id visible in it? (you can try advance filter in mail and check mails recd. on 21st aug 2024 as this date they send mail about the same as they told me on customer support call but i don't see any mail from jupiter on that date or any other day regarding the same)

1000 days mean 2.7 years before?. I closed mine feb 2024.

But from where came those pending charges that need to be paid before closing the a/c like even the reddit guy had the same issue

Also they debited Rs. 30 from my a/c in the name of "charge e-com pos decline fee" well this phrase means i swiped my debit card at some ecom pos but it got declined but i never swiped my card at any ecom pos and that too thrice on one random morning as the a/c statement claims and low balance charges are supposed to be deducted 2 months after not maintaining amb and not randomly anytime they see money in my a/c. and same issue was with redditers as well

It takes some time but finally everyone comes to this conclusion every single time. If it has happened enough time at least some people learn not join in the herd lining up for every new shiny toy. For what — that 77.6 rupees “cashback” in 45 days? In the form of points that you can only use if you have at least a few thousand? There you go — they get a free full time marketer. “X is the best account! Have been using it since 7 months. No problems so far. Use that. Here’s my referral link —you’ll get 300 bonus points”.

Jupiter is worst. It has pathetic customer support. They don't hesitate to lie also no resolution for customer problems. They just close it by giving sone random reasons. All in all not recommended to use any of their savings account or credit/debit cards.

True. While it is easier to do transactions, the customer support literally doesn’t exist. God forbid if something goes wrong with some transaction, you cant do anything except sending messages to chat bot. Need to avoid it.
