Hello, everyone! My name is Arthit Sen. I'm studying at National Institute Of Technology, Silchar. Recently, a team from south, belonging to ICICI Bank visited my campus to issue Rubyx CC with 1 Lakh limit to students. I cross-checked the information with the agent as I was aware it was only for alumni. I submitted my application and also completed my Biometric KYC which by the way, due to some server issues took more than 5 days. I live off-campus, so I had to repeatedly visit my campus to get it done.
Then, there was absolute silence from the bank's side until 15-16 days ago when I received my first e-application which I had to confirm and accept. As expected, they entered my mother's name wrong. I requested for a correction and waited till 10th Nov, when they sent my second e-application which I accepted and confirmed.
Today, I received a message that my application has been accepted and was being reviewed. On the same day, at 10:26 PM, I receive this message saying that my application has been rejected. I open my mail to see a rejection letter citing that very arbitrary reasons. I have attached my screenshots with this post. If this keeps on going with students from premier institutes, then I wonder what they are doing with other people.
My credit history:
1. A secured CC (IDFC First Bank First Earn) of 5000 Rs. limit.
2. CIBIL Score: 772 (24% CC Usage)
3. Credit Age: 3 months
