How can I get my first SBI card? ( self employed )

I already have 8 cards from major banks with a combined limit of 8.5 lakh, but SBI still isn’t offering me any card. The problem is that I work from home, and my address seems to be blacklisted so i used uncle's address Last time I reached the tentative approval stage, but after home verification agent rejected my card. I see people getting SBI cards with fake professions and no income proof, my income on paper isn’t very high, file my ITR 4.95L. with 776 cibil and no late payment in 4 year history and 9 month avg age

Yes yes. I remember your earlier case. People get sbi cards Without income proof. It's purely based on the cibil history. I am the right person to tell you that. Because my cashback card got approved instantly with a cibil score of 785. Second card I applied after 6 month got approved without any documents. In these two cases there was no column to enter the income amount. Some customer reported the same where they don't have any column to enter the amount and approved the card. Better you can apply via sprint. Because on sprint portal only it will be approved instantly, if applicable

May I know what was the rejection reason they mentioned earlier?

For 8.5L credit limit with 4.95L ITR ur credit limit-annual salary ratio comes at around 1.75 which is high. U r already overleveraged. Try reducing ur credit limit so that this ratio becomes <1.5X preferabbly <1X. These days 1.5X is rejected by SBI even for salaried people

U add all the CC+LOAN limits in ur Cibil report and then divide it by ur annual salary/ITR. If that ratio is >1.5X then almost impossible to get SBI card due to overleverage issue

In the past 3 months, first application was rejected without explanation. agent later told me the reason and helped me reapply, but the verification call was odd and it got rejected again. She applied once more, and that one was rejected after the home visit.
