BOB Eterna LTF Offer: Unlimited Lounge Access + 5X Rewards!

I tried the online apply link given in first post - after entering basic details it says - technical error, try after some time...

what to do?

I have BoB super account with 20k MAB and hold RSDC and EMT card, does it affect for applying?

Please Try Early Morning or late night.

Late night worked for me.
 
For any existing card holder, holding Premier/ any other card, could potentially upgrade to Eterna as LTF, using the following trick:
  1. Email crm and then esclation for upgrade to an LTF eterna.
  2. You'll get rejected, in the first few emails. Try pushing it, but will still get rejected.
  3. After few rejections, send an email for card closure and cibil removal, saying as an existing cutomer, I did not felt valued.(try at your own risk, and be prepared to close the card too).
  4. After 2-3 days, their retention team will call you and upgrade your card to LTF eterna.

What is the escalation email address ? I already have Paid Eterna , which i would like to convert LTF , they have already rejected twice , now will send mail to escalation team on same mail thread.

Trying our luck now; sent email to bank for upgrade request for one of the card in my family.
Lets see if the bank shows their big heart or not to approve the upgrade lol
 
Any good use of bob eterna apart from the unlimited airport langar?
Well it provides access to some exclusive lounges which are not available for free access even on super premium cards.
And i use this card for 3.75% cashback on ECom sites during the times when I utilise 90% of CL on SBI Cashback card.

And thirdly for Bank specific offers which are quite generous across the year on BOB Cards.

I am having this card as LTF since the launch time so had reaped lot of benefits from it so far.
 
My ongoing issue with BOB Eterna CC application.

  • On Oct 28, I applied for the BOB Eterna CC via a BOB representative (based on another thread in the TF Community). However, due to some reason, I did not get the VKYC link on the same day.
  • I got the VKYC link on the 29th, and I completed the VKYC process on Oct 30th. However, the application status still showed as "VKYC Pending."
  • I was asked to wait for a few days by the BOB person, and on Nov 4th, I sent a mail to BOB Customer Care explaining the issue.
  • Until Nov 15th, I did not receive any response. I also tried reaching Customer Care via call (which was obviously of no use) and reached out to a local BOB branch (worse than Customer support over the phone). The Branch Manager was like, "You speak to the person who applied the card for you. Do not come to the branch," and I escalated via mail.
  • Only then I received a canned response for my initial mail, saying that I would receive a new KYC link in the next couple of days, but nothing happened.
  • Because of my constant follow-ups, the person who applied the card for me literally stopped responding to my calls / messages and started giving vague ETAs.
  • I re-escalated on Nov 24th and called Customer Care multiple times, requesting them to process the application based on the completed VKYC or at least re-send the VKYC link. The BOB team is very stubborn that they will not open/read mails. Apart from the automated standing responses, where they open a new ticket number for each of my mails, nothing is happening at the BOB end.

Meanwhile, I also tried visiting another branch, and there it was even worse. They did not even know that Eterna was being issued LTF and started abusing me for trying to get that card as LTF. As there was a huge crowd, I did not retaliate and returned back.

Now I plan to take this to the Ombudsman for lack of service from BOB Cards' end if the VKYC issue is not getting resolved by next week. Also, to the Ombudsman, I want to highlight the rude behavior of the BOB branch staff, but I do not have any substantial proofs from a legal perspective.

Let me know if there are any other escalation methods, or what my next best course of action can be.

Got reply from Eterna. They send email that we give LTF based one the salary and asked following docs.

1. Last 3 months Payslips/ statements
2. Card Network
