The most rewarding debit card! PNB Imperial RSDC

TF Buzz
Today, I’m sharing my experience of getting the PNB Rupay Select Imperial Debit Card — and honestly, this isn’t just another debit card, it’s one of the most rewarding ones currently available in India.

Let me start from the beginning — I had applied for this Debit Card recently (the only reason I opened an account with PNB) The benefits and vouchers that come bundled with the Imperial variant easily exceed ₹16,000 in total value (maybe even more, I haven’t done the exact math yet!).

What makes it even more interesting is that PNB allows up to two add-on cards, meaning you can actually have three Imperial Debit Cards linked to a single account.

Although a few posts on Technofino already discuss PNB’s new debit card lineup, I wanted to make a dedicated thread exclusively for the Imperial Debit Card — so that anyone planning to apply or looking for real-world experiences can find everything here and discuss their queries directly related to this.

Eligibility: You need to open a basic savings account with PNB (Unnati savings scheme). Then you have to transfer 1 lac into the account in order to be eligible. I have enquired from the people already holding the cars that the balance does not need to be maintained, also PNB does not have any non maintenance charges. If you think any debit card
beats these benefits in the pics shared, let me know!
Only offline application possible.

I converted account in Elite account and then applied the card. For first card it's free. So no deduction. Also I validated through branch and debit card request is there. But no other details like Trackind id, card number etc which usually start showing after 4-5 days.
Checking on their whatsapp no, under debit card services > green pin. If any card is issued it will appear here.

Hi Guys, iam new here... with reference to the RSDC cards thats issued by PNB, based on the post here, i see there are lots of additonal lifestyle and shopping vouchers given which is not the case with Canara bank or other banks as per the Rupay site? am i missing somthing here.
particularly kalyan jewellers voucher for 2000Rs which is crazy! can someone please confirm if you are able to get all the benefits listed under shopping and lifestyle vouchers are given - BMS voucher/blinkit/Gaana 1 year subscription/decathalon/myntra?

Yes all are correct.
I have redeemed decathlon and Myntra voucher couple of days back.
Have apollo and blinkit voucher handy.
Also got swiggy and gaane membership.
Fees is already recovered in this quarter but vouchers are available every quarter.
I think this is one of the best cards for rupay select.

Thanks for confirming.. what about the malabar gold voucher... any conditions in claiming it?

Anyone tried redeeming Reliance Digital voucher at stores? How's the experience?

The TnC is confusing:
  • This is a one-time use GV/GC.
  • Multiple Gift Vouchers CAN be used in one bill
  • The coupon code has to be applied within 30 days in your account
  • This Gift Voucher is redeemable, and it is valid only for a minimum period of 12 months from the date of receipt.

Guys based on my scroll through the post.. im summarizing.. please let me know if this is right or i have missed anything
  1. Open unnati/General savings account without debit card in any nearest PNB branch
  2. Fund 1lac to the account on activation,
  3. leave the account for few days to 1 week so the MAB shows 1lac
  4. then apply for the RSDC card with Code SAI physical application in branch -charges would be 708Rs
  5. Apply for addon card after the primary card is activated.
Please let me know if i have missed any or understood wrongly.

I don't understand point 3 & 4 collectively.
Where to add in 30 days?
It is not a gift card like amazon/flipkart.
So where to add it and what is 1 year validity .

Guys i see in few posts on reddit, the vouchers for OTT is yearly and its end by dec 31, and not from the date of activation.. can someone who has claimed it if you are seeing the end date for your prime activation is dec 31 or 1year from the day of activation?
